How do I play?
Look for the lottery sign in your favorite local stores and ask for a Lucky for Life® ticket. Dates (like birthdays and anniversaries) are popular choices, but choose any 5 numbers you want between 1 and 48. Then pick 1 “Lucky Ball” number between 1 and 18. Or, skip the play slip and our computer can pick lucky numbers for you! We have drawings every night, and you can check the numbers here anytime.
Tickets are sold by 23 different lotteries – check out the complete list here.
What is a playslip?
Also called a “bet slip,” the playslip is an easy way to identify your numbers before you purchase your ticket. Just ask a cashier for one and let the game begin! If you don’t want to pick the numbers, our computer can do it for you.
How much does it cost?
$2 per wager.
What are “for life” prizes?
You don’t just win once with Lucky for Life, you win FOR LIFE. The top prize of $365,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE is paid weekly and the second prize is $25,000 a YEAR FOR LIFE paid yearly. These prizes stick around for a minimum of 20 years or even longer – as long as you’re around!
In some cases, these prizes may be paid on a split-prize liability and will be lower than these published prize levels. Refer to your state’s official game rules for a detailed explanation.
How do I know if I’ve won?
Your ticket is a winner if your numbers match the winning numbers in one of ten different ways. Prizes range from $3 all the way up to $365,000 A YEAR, FOR LIFE. You can check your numbers here anytime or bring your ticket to a lottery retailer have it checked there.
